Logistics of moving existing equipment; biohazard samples & hazmat; while minimizing the “downtime” of the Kaiser Lab.
The Ellipse team representatives met with each Lab department to identify existing equipment, bio-hazards and hazmat to be moved. A detailed, phased schedule was developed integrating the user schedule requirements; equipment disassembly, move, re-build and test; and Department of Transportation requirements for transport of hazmat and bio-hazards.
Ellipse completed a detailed audit of all equipment. Manufacturers were contacted and documentation generated relating to move requirements for warranty purposes and a documented, detailed schedule was provided to the vendor’s identifying their scheduled support and move availability.
